Heart Care Revolution: First AI Pacemaker in the Region

Indiana Hospital, Mangaluru, successfully implanted an AI-powered wireless pacemaker for the first time in Coastal Karnataka on an 83-year-old patient with Tachy-Brady Syndrome. Unlike traditional devices, this pacemaker is placed through a vein and directly attached to the heart, reducing infection risks and offering a lifespan of 5–15 years.
